Do you love film?
Do you want to share your passion for film with the local community?
The Horton Arts Centre in Epsom is looking for people aged 15-20, who are passionate about the power of film, to join our Choice Cut Film Club.
Members of Choice Cut will learn about programming (selecting films) as well as planning, promoting and running six screening events for the public that will take place at The Horton.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your employability skills and add creative industry experience to your CV as well as enjoy some great films.
Choice Cut will meet regularly on Wednesdays from 1.30-2.30pm, but not every week, at The Horton, with drinks and snacks provided.
The club will run from 22 November 2023 to the end of March 2024. Film screenings will take place in evenings, on Saturdays and school holidays.
To apply, please email: [email protected], letting us know:
- What you are doing at the moment (school, college, caring, not in employment).
- Your three favourite films. (This can be anything – we are not judging your taste.)
- If you have any access needs.
- Why you are interested in joining Choice Cut.
Or, if you prefer speaking to writing, you can send us a video instead, answering the questions above. Please apply as soon as you can – before 16th November 2023. If you are under 16, you will need the consent of your parent, carer or teacher to attend.
