WILDFLOWER ACOUSTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL

Saturday 25th July, 12-8pm

Join us for The Horton’s first ever outdoor music festival – hosting a fantastic line-up of accomplished acoustic artists performing their own original songs. From folk to blues, enjoy toe-tapping and spine-tingling tunes in the stunning setting of The Horton Gardens. Hosted by our friends Dragonfly Sky, nine artists will be performing between 12-8pm. Stay and enjoy the whole day.

The Line Up

    • 3Times7 – High-energy soul, funk and blues with rich vocals and infectious grooves
    • Boathead – Indie and prog-rock influenced trio blending strong songwriting, harmonies and textured guitar and synth sounds
    • Dragonfly Sky – Acoustic duo known for lush harmonies, captivating melodies and engaging performances
    • ELTEL – London-based act combining original songs with imaginative and haunting reinterpretations of classic tracks
    • Jim Cozens– Experienced singer-songwriter inspired by classic artists including Paul Simon, James Taylor and Cat Stevens
    • KB Bayley – Acclaimed songwriter and lap steel guitarist performing original songs and Americana favourites
    • Mica Bernard – Soulful folk singer-songwriter with heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals
    • Nora Anna – Atmospheric songwriter creating emotive and reflective musical journeys
    • Searching for Autumn – Acoustic duo blending haunting melodies, subtle harmonies and evocative lyrics
    • Tomorrow Bird – Multi-award-winning Americana-folk duo renowned for stunning harmonies and beautifully crafted songs
    • Zach Johnson – Award-winning indie-folk singer-songwriter known for lyrical storytelling and engaging live performances

Food and Drink
Visitors are not permitted to bring food and drink from home to The Horton. We are a licensed premises and any product bought in from outside will be removed.

Our outdoor BBQ will be serving burgers, sausages and vege options all day.

Cake, sweet treats and ice-creams will be available from the café. There will also be an outdoor drinks stand. Our café-bar will be open from 9.15am – serving food, snacks, drinks and ice-cream. All profits from the café support our charity and enable us to put on events like this one.

Seating
You are welcome to bring chairs, blankets and cushions.
For seating or any other accessibility requirements please get in touch with us in advance.

Arrival Time
We recommend you arrive in plenty of time to visit the café and discover more about The Horton.
The venue itself is open from 9.15am.

Weather
This event is outdoors and our lovely new stretch tent will protect you from light showers.  Please check the forecast on the day of the show and come dressed for the conditions. In case of rain, please don’t bring umbrellas as they block sight-lines for other audience members.

Our team will closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to outdoor events and should there ever be any concern regarding extreme weather, we will move into our Performance Space.

Dogs
Dogs will be allowed but there will be a designated dog-free seating area.

A small number of subsidised £17 Cost of Living tickets are available for those who are currently finding things difficult. If you can afford to buy a standard priced ticket, please do, so those who really need this option can benefit.

Age Rating: all ages welcome

A £2 booking fee is included in ticket prices. This applies when booking online and in person.
