This half-term take the unusual opportunity to get right up close to five lovely sheep for a special one-off art workshop.
Three different breeds – Mules, Shetlands and Rylands will be taking a daytrip to The Horton from their home at NESCOT College, which houses a 12-acre farm and small animal centre.
During this workshop, participants will look at examples of animal art, before heading out into the grounds to study and sketch the sheep – standing with easels or seated with boards. The sheep will be grazing inside a small, fenced area allowing children and families to get close to the animals.
All materials will be provided and artwork can be taken home.
In the event of rain, outdoor sketching will take place under a gazebo.
Please wear sturdy boots or trainers and bring a warm coat.
Suitable for ages 7+
Children under 11 years must be accompanied by an adult parent or carer.
The workshops last one hour and half, starting at 10.30am and 1pm.
