Take a magical, festive, circus adventure all the way to the moon!
Following their enchanting festive show The Elf Factory in 2021, Hikapee return to The Horton with circus adventure Moonfall.
Come and celebrate our favourite time of the year, with two boisterous siblings who share a love for climbing and circus-ing about, but who absolutely do not like sharing!
In amongst twinkly lights and mountains of presents, we meet Princess Amaya and her brother as they celebrate the festive season.
However Amaya is no ordinary princess, she is headstrong, determined and frustrated with the life given to her in her Kingdom. She has big dreams and after a fight with her brother, goes on the biggest adventure of her life – to the Moon!
Will her brother delight in her absence, or perhaps the bond between these two siblings will bring her back down to earth?
Moonfall is a 45 minute brilliantly comical story-telling performance using a rope, a hoop and bags of imagination.
The show is completely non-verbal, with the narrative told through physical performance, aerial circus and an original soundtrack.
Perfect for families and children aged 3+
“The circus routines are full of charm and wit and bounce easily and confidently between knockabout fun and serene beauty.” Broadway Baby
“There were many audible gasps and cheers from the captivated young audience, as the duo seamlessly tumbled from one trick into the next.” Children’s Theatre Reviews
“The use of circus skills brought home the message that the sky really is the limit, the one lesson I want my children to take with them in life.” LucyLovesCircus
A relaxed performance will take place on Monday 19 December at 2pm. A relaxed performance is a show that’s been adapted to suit people who might require a more informal environment. It also offers a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for those with sensory issues or additional needs.
