A Night at the Opera – Fundraising Concert
Absolutely Opera presents “A Night at the Opera: the Sublime and the Ridiculous”.
An evening of arias, duets, trios, quartets and more with anecdotes and funny stories. What do Rachmaninoff and Harpo Marx have in common? What happened on the opening night of La Traviata? Did Stravinsky really ask Gershwin for lessons in composition? All this and more, in aid of the Piano Keys for the new Piano at The Horton, Epsom.
All ticket sales for this performance have been generously donated to support The Horton’s 88 Keys campaign. The Horton is raising funds to buy the baby grand piano currently on loan. Giving the piano a permanent home at The Horton will support our vision of being able to host exceptional artists performing a diverse programme of piano music. Find Out More
