“A sensationally ground breaking piece. The inclusion of real-life survivors’ stories provides the perfect opportunity to self-reflect on the show’s content.” The Indiependent Review
An exploration of voice-hearing, resilience and power expressed through performance.
Journey into one woman’s struggle to reclaim her past. On the eve of her 50th birthday, Alice sets out to confront the trauma of her 10th birthday, which instead of being a day of celebration became the painful beginning of her abuse.
Join her and her guests as her fragile reality is threatened throughout the day, as Alice fights to take back what is hers.
Using optional immersive techniques, the audience is drawn into the experience of a voice–hearer.
Featuring optional immersive audio to aid understanding, and video showing stories of people with lived experience.
