Gift an extraordinary experience – Theatre For Young Disabled Adults
Could you support a young adult with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) to experience an incredible theatre experience designed for them and their carers?
We are hoping to host a performance in January from award-winning theatre company Frozen Light. For the show The Ancient Oak of Baldor, the team will build a safe fully-immersive set inside The Horton’s Performance Space including a lifesize tree – and a multi-sensory world of specially-trained actors and musicians.
Magical memories will be created through intimate one to one interactions.
Opportunities for young people with PLMD often disappear once they reach 18 years old and we want to offer something unique and extraordinary for this often overlooked audience group.
Each show is performed for a maximum of 6 young people and their carers – making it unaffordable for most families. A gift of £100 will enable one young person and a family member to enjoy an amazing immersive experience.
