We’re thrilled to reveal what’s coming up this Autumn and Winter at The Horton. After a fantastic summer presenting performances in our new garden space for the first time, we’re heading back indoors with an exciting season of events to take you through to the end of the year.
Expect electrifying live music, captivating theatre, thought-provoking exhibitions, inspiring creative workshops, and a festive programme that combines seasonal traditions with memorable nights out.
Some highlights we’re especially excited about include:
- A sharp new adaptation of Lady Susan by award-winning Dyad Productions
- Two rising Ghanaian stars explore the meaning of “home” in Drum
- The epic tales of Shackleton, Crean, and Scott in Discovering Antarctica
- The fierce and fun banjopunk trio Baskery
- Vincent Franklin (The Thick Of It, Happy Valley) in A Christmas Carol
- Kanda Bongo Man, a true pioneer of World music
We’re also proud to host the final opportunity to view the work of local cartoonist and theatrical caricaturist Bill Hewison, alongside a rich programme of workshops led by talented local practitioners designed to spark your imagination.
And of course, we couldn’t end the year without a celebration. Our festive programme is full of shows to get you in the holiday spirit, culminating in the return of our legendary New Year’s Eve Horton Hootenanny, starring the incredible Blunter Brothers.
