When Judas Met John: Songs of Dylan and Lennon
Friday 9th May, 8pm
Why did Dylan keep it to himself that he really dug The Beatles? And why was Lennon at first, in awe of Dylan only to deride him shortly afterwards?
This is a story by Brothers Broke exploring the intriguing relationship between Bob Dylan and John Lennon. A presentation of songs based around a fact-based script, it tells the story of influence, envy, parody and respect that each artist had for the other. The story captures little-known truths about their relationship.
Featuring distinctive and subtle sibling harmonies supported by acoustic blues and folk guitar and harmonica When Judas Met John: Songs of Dylan and Lennon is sure to make you walk out of the theatre smiling and is produced and presented by identical twins Brothers Broke.
