It Had To Be Two is a duo; a marriage of two heads, two hearts and four hands. What started as an interrupted practice session of classical pianist Nadine André by her husband, jazz drummer Paul Cavaciuti, quickly grew into an intriguing new project; an act exploring the coming together of two very different musical worlds.
Join Paul and Nadine as they weave music by the romantically challenged songwriters of 20th century America and European classical composers together with their disastrous love lives, all to provide audiences with fine examples of how to live “happily ever after”.
Discover the missing drum parts to Bach and Debussy, and learn about how Beethoven invented disco. You’ll be tapping your foot to ragtime, singing along to Cole Porter, and going home with a huge smile on your face!
