Beth Hill was a gifted musician whose twin passions in life were singing and children. In 2014 Beth was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia called Semantic Dementia. Beth’s dementia gradually robbed her of cognition and speech but music stayed with her and she kept singing until she passed away in January 2021.
Beth’s friends, the choirs she sung in and the choirs she conducted have come together to perform a special concert in memory of Beth and to raise money for music workshops run by The Horton arts centre for children in Epsom and Ewell. Those performing at the concert include:
- The Year 3 choir from The Vale Primary School, Langley Vale
- Epsom Chamber Choir
- All Sorts Community Choir
- Colleagues from the Voices Foundation
- Singing friends of Beth
The concert will feature a wide range of songs and choral music and also include some audience participation!
