Nagomi Art Workshop – Cherry Blossom Pastel

Try something new. Come along and create your own unique and calming work of art in pastels. Hosted by Cherie, a qualified Pastel Nagomi Art instructor, you will learn skills and techniques to create unique and beautiful pastel artwork.
Pastel Nagomi Art, a healing art form originating from Japan, allows you to express yourself through soft pastels, your fingers, and simple tools. The process is both therapeutic and fulfilling as you create heart-warming works of art that radiate tranquillity.
Whether you have an extensive art background or are a complete beginner, this workshop is designed for everyone. You’ll be guided through each step, learning techniques to draw cherry blossoms – the symbol of new beginnings and the season of renewal.
Flower of Crystal Art is an elegant flower blooming art that emphasizes on its transparency and glow. Originating from Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture in Japan, FCA is the brainchild of Ms. Rumi Ishimaru which was created out of her passionate love for pastel art. With the appropriate tools and a love for creating, everyone can create a masterpiece of FCA of their own.
Participants will be guided through the workshop by artist Cherie Crafty (@cherie_crafty) who is a certified Pastel Nagomi Art advanced instructor. Cherie is passionate about sharing art for therapeutic well-being and cultural appreciation. From Hong Kong and based in the UK, Cherie is also certified in Noir Art, Flower of Crystals and Pasteriasho (Pastel Art with Japanese style calligraphy).
