From fast-paced acoustic psy-trance to beautiful and exotic melodies, the music of Nadav Tabak takes listeners on an adventure through a vast array of genres. His music showcases a blend of tribal sounds, Spanish rumba guitar techniques, and the deep resonance of percussion instruments like the djembe and bass.
After spending the last decade captivating audiences around the world as part of the internationally renowned guitar duo Opal Ocean, he has embarked on his own unique musical journey, enchanting audiences with his spellbinding performances on a European tour.
Growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, Nadav combines his experimental mindset with a single looping pedal to craft intricate improvisational pieces that incorporate a variety of instruments, influences, and soul.
Nadav’s dedication to creating an immersive and captivating experience is evident in his debut self-titled EP, which was composed and recorded in 2023.
Last year saw Nadav travel across Europe, performing at festivals and opening for world class artists. He recently opened for Manu Chao at Chez Narcisse in Val d’Ajol, Rootsriders at the Olympia in Paris. He played at Earth Garden Festival in Malta and made it to the top four artists for the Chien à Plumes Tremplin last summer.
