Caspian’s Storm

A fantastic theatre experience for children aged 3+, taking place in The Horton’s Gardens.
Caspian the crab is small in stature but BIG in curiosity. Happy in his rockpool home, he loves cleaning, collecting adventure stories, and watching the humans who live near the shore. But one stormy night, a strange magic connects sea and land thrusting Caspian into the spotlight and off on an adventure of his own.
Packed with puppetry, music, and plenty of laughs, Caspian’s Storm is a fast-paced, interactive show for the young and young at heart. With LAStheatre’s trademark quirky humour, toe-tapping music, and an important message about protecting our environment, it’s the perfect show for all the family.

Suitable for ages 3+ – Please note that other than babes in arms all children need a ticket. Babes in arms are a baby who is too young to sit and has to be held.
Important Information About This Event
Seating
You are welcome to bring blankets and cushions as audience members will be seated on the ground. A small number of chairs will be available for those who are unable to sit on the floor. For seating or any other accessibility requirements please get in touch with us in advance. Buggies will need to be left at the back in a designated area.
Arrival Time
We recommend you arrive in plenty of time to visit the café and discover more about The Horton. The venue itself is open from 9.15am.
Weather
This event is outdoors and will go ahead under our stretch tent in the event of rain.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled or postponed. If an event is postponed and rescheduled and you inform us within 14 days that you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you will be refunded in full. We reserve the right to delay the start of the show in the interests of safety.
Food and Drink
Our café-bar will be open – serving food, snacks, drinks and ice-cream. All profits from the café support our charity and enable us to put on events like this one. Visitors are not permitted to bring food and drink from home to The Horton.
Dogs
Dogs will not be allowed in the designated audience seating area during performances with the exception of assistance dogs.
A £2 booking fee is included in ticket prices. This applies when booking online and in person. The booking fee covers costs charged to the charity for the booking system and payment processing.
