Time To Talk Day

Thursday 2 February
10.30am – 12.30pm

Talking and listening about mental health has the power to change lives. Each conversation we have contributes to reducing mental health stigma, helping to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.

On Thursday 2 February, The Horton Arts Centre is one of the places you can visit if you want to talk about how you feel.
A Crisis Counselling Volunteer will be with us between 10.30am and 12.30pm to talk with, informally or privately.

Employers can also drop in to find out how to support employees by prioritising mental health.

Creative activities can be helpful in starting conversations. You can doodle at our Drawing table and pick up a free Epsom Colouring Book featuring historic buildings and scenes from around the borough, for some mindful colouring.

And if you are not sure whether you are ready to talk, just pop along to our cafe and visit the (free) exhibition about the history of mental health care in Epsom and see how you feel when you get here.

About Time To Talk Day
Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in partnership with the Co-op and with support from Time To Change Wales, See Me and Change Your Mind / Inspire.
