Creative Bookbinding Workshop

In this exciting three-hour beginners session, learn how to make three different types of book from scratch – a personal zine, a 3-hole stitched pamphlet and a faux leather journal from recycled materials.
Experienced book art Tutor Corynne Bailey will introduce you to different basic techniques, and how to handle bookbinding tools including an Xacto knife.
All materials and tools are included and you will take home unique books to use and enjoy for yourself or give as special personal gifts.
You will leave with the skills to be able to start making your own handmade books at home.
About the tutor
Creative artist and paper engineer Corynne Bailey has been bookbinding for more than 12 years. As well as teaching all things paper, she runs a business from her base in Epsom creating beautiful bespoke books for clients.
Corynne says:
“I love the art of taking a simple piece of paper and transforming it into a beautiful piece of art. Over the years I have engaged in using different mediums to express my love of all things creative. I’m always looking for something unique to design.
